The LRTweetup organizing committee is coming together next week to discuss the opportunities and focus for 2010.

I'd like to open the floor to your ideas. I've outlined some of the major agenda issues. Please take time to consider them and then give us feedback. We meet early next week so don't tarry.

1. More People
   1. LRTweetup is currently following 500 people in Central Arkansas. How can we invite more of them into this community?
   2. Part of the this strategy will be to clearly define and communitcate the following
      1. Why should you join LRTweetup?
      2. What will you gain from LRTweetup?
2.  Evolving Mission
   1. LRTweetup should begin to evolve into more than a social club. The heart and resources of this organization necessitate us to become civic and service minded. Whether it is spreading the word about needs or spending a day serving together. This should really be a priority this year
3. More Connected People -We want to increase LRTweetup's role as a forum for business and personal networking.
   
   1. We need to introduce some ways for people to get to know one another better.
      
      1. Membership directory
      2. Member Profile series.

It is essential that we chart the future of this organization so that we will evolve in a directed manner serves others and increases opportunities through personal connections. Through service and connecting people we feel that LRTweetup can exist at the very essence of the idea of community.
